We work primarily in the Central VA counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Madison, Nelson, and Orange. We’re also familiar with real estate in the counties of Amherst, Augusta, Buckingham, and Culpeper…. although folks who want to be within approximately 30+/- minutes from the City of Charlottesville should note that these last 4 Central VA counties will likely require a longer drive.
ACTIVE LISTINGS – ALL CENTRAL VA REGION COUNTIES
A median price is not the same as an average price. A median price means that one half of the sold properties were above this number, and one half of the sold properties are below this number.
The general topography of Central VA is unique. The counties west of Charlottesville sit in the lap of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with fabulous mountain scenery as well as pastoral views in the Shenandoah Valley of Augusta County VA. Just east of Charlottesville, in Albemarle County’s Keswick area, are the Southeast Mountains… not quite as steep as the Blue Ridge mountains but lovely and scenic nonetheless. You’ll find that the Central VA Market Statistics in the above links will mirror the values of each county’s accessibility and proximity to towns and other features.
