On my way back over the Blue Ridge Mountains from the Shenandoah Valley this week, I couldn't resist stopping for a few minutes to admire the view of the Albemarle County farmland.. No matter what season we are in the views from the Blue Ridge are spectacular. Each season offers a new scene. These pictures show the Albemarle Countryside of rolling hills, and pasture intersperced with woods. Even with the leaves off the trees you can see the beauty of an Albemarle County farm. Of course I may be prejudiced, but I think that Albemarle County is one of the choice places in the United States to have a horse farm.
