If you time your visit 30 minutes before the sunset, you will get to see a kaleidoscope of colors as the sun sets below the horizon. There are also many short and long trails which wind through the woods off these roads.

Charlottesville has also emerged as a wine destination with a booming food scene. The city is surrounded by gorgeous wine country and a thriving farm to table scene bolstered by local farms and producers.
